How BlokVault works

Own the bottle. Skip the cellar.

01
Yours, on the record
Buy the token on OpenSea or here. Your ownership is stored on Ethereum, not in our spreadsheet, so it can't be lost, forged or disputed.
02
We look after it
Your bottle stays in our climate-controlled cellar, insured by Lloyd's, for as long as you like. No shelf space, no knocks, no warm garage.
03
Claim it, or sell it on
Redeem the token and we send the bottle to you. Or sell it on OpenSea: the bottle changes hands without ever leaving the cellar.

The Tamworth Distillery · Distiller’s Pick 2026

Ten were bottled.
Three are in the vault.

The Tamworth Distillery’s first barrel-strength single malt. One exceptional barrel, finished in French oak and bottled by hand in a numbered run of ten. It sold out at the distillery. Bottles No. 2, 6 and 10 are in the vault now.

Most barrels end up in a batch. Every so often one comes of age so far ahead of the rest that blending it away would be a waste. At The Tamworth Distillery, in northern New South Wales, this was that barrel, and it became their first ever barrel-strength release.

Barrel strength means nothing stands between the cask and the bottle: no water is added to bring the whisky down to a standard strength, so it is bottled at the strength the barrel reached. This one came out at 57.7% ABV. A few drops of water in the glass will open it up, if you choose to.

French oak finished. The single malt spent its final stretch in French oak, the tighter-grained wood prized by winemakers, which brings spice and a drier, more structured edge.

Ten bottles, numbered by hand. The head distiller filled and numbered every one. They were meant to stay at the distillery; instead ten were released to collectors, and they sold out.

Two labels. Nos. 1 and 7 to 10 wear the standard Tamworth Distillery label, a lone gum tree against the sun. Nos. 2 to 6 wear a custom label made for this release, a gum’s branches over the still and the hills beyond. Each reads “Limited Edition · 1st Barrel Strength Release” with its own bottle number.
